APP + WEBSITE HELP

Live data looks delayed
Solar WAVE refreshes its source feeds automatically, but each NASA, NOAA, NWS, NHC, and USGS product has its own publication interval. Check the source timestamp shown beside a panel before reloading. If a panel remains unavailable, return to the top of the site and try again after the next stated refresh interval.
CME and flare alerts
Open Alerts, select “Allow CME + flare alerts,” and approve notifications when your phone asks. On iPhone or Android, notifications can later be enabled or disabled in the system Settings app. Solar WAVE only schedules modeled CME-arrival alerts when an arrival window is available.
Scanner or SDR audio will not stop
Use the red Stop Audio control in the floating player. If the source was opened in another browser tab, close or pause that tab too. iPhone and Android may also show a system media control that can stop an active stream.
Install or reset the app
For the website app, remove Solar WAVE from the Home Screen and install it again from your browser. For the native app, force-close it once, reopen it on a stable connection, and confirm that notifications are allowed. Reinstalling the app resets its saved notification permission and local alert history.
Privacy and official sources
Solar WAVE does not ask for an account, callsign, or precise location. Read the privacy page for analytics and notification details. For safety decisions, follow the linked official agency bulletin rather than a modeled countdown.
